The reception event will bring together many of the pioneering leaders represented throughout the day, alongside leaders from Indigenous peoples, government and civil society, to provide a networking opportunity for those looking to find collaborative solutions.
There is no hope of achieving a net-zero economy unless we protect, restore and sustainably manage Earth’s natural ecosystems - the journey towards a nature-positive economy. This transition requires involvement across the economy, and you are invited to a reception event, hosted by the World Economic Forum, ERM and KPMG, that will bring together leaders from a broad range of sectors.
This event provides the close to a full day of programming, being co-ordinated by the World Economic Forum, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Business for Nature, We Mean Business and Nature4Climate. Our ‘Business in Action’ day at the Nature Positive pavilion, will host sessions on the following topics: public-private partnerships and a sector-by-sector approach to the nature-positive transition; how finance and incentives can accelerate the transition; the role of carbon markets; and how companies can set credible nature strategies alongside climate goals; measuring nature positive outcomes; with a session focused on business leadership in the food and agriculture sector.
