Creating a diverse and inclusive work environment where everyone belongs is an essential part of making ERM a great place to build a career. We formalized our diversity, inclusion, and belonging (DIB) mission over a decade ago, and it is integral to our ability to foster a culture where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered. This long-held commitment ensures that diverse perspectives are not only welcomed but also actively integrated into our business strategies, leading to more innovative solutions.
By embedding DIB into everything we do, we attract and retain top talent, enhance employee engagement, and build a workplace where all employees can thrive authentically.

DIB Mission Statement
Our diversity, inclusion, and belonging mission is to be the leading global force in environmental and sustainability consulting, leveraging the power of diversity, inclusion, and belonging to drive innovation and deliver unparalleled solutions that positively impact our clients, employees, and the communities we serve.
Employee Resource Groups
Our global employee resource groups support and create space for all employees to build connections and thrive. These include the Asian Professional Network, Black Professionals Network, Caregivers @ ERM, EnAble (disability and neurodiversity), GLOW (Global Women), Hispanic/Latinx Professionals Network, North American Veterans, and PRIDE (LGBTQ+).
Sponsorship Program
LEAD, our sponsorship program, was created to help employees build a successful ERM career. Through meaningful, long-term relationships between employees seeking professional growth and senior leaders who provide advocacy and guidance, participants develop their careers, expand internal networks, and deepen their understanding of ERM. LEAD encompasses four stages of developing a beneficial relationship: Listen (to each other), Elevate (a skill), Advocate (for opportunity), and Dedicate (new experiences).
Learning Programs
Passport to DIB is a collection of learning programs that supports employees on an exciting pathway towards a more diverse and inclusive environment. Each learning journey is designed to support personal and career growth at ERM by building awareness and understanding of key topics and behaviors and encouraging the incorporation of DIB into our daily ways of working.
