ERM has appointed Gerard Spans as our Chief Information Officer. In this role he will refine and deliver ERM’s Digital and IT strategy, aimed at strengthening the contribution of Digital and IT to the business, both internally and externally facing.
Gerard brings deep experience in Digital and IT transformations and is a proven leader with a strong track record built with world-class multinational businesses. He was previously CIO of Arcadis NV, a leading global design and engineering consultancy. Prior to this, Gerard worked as CIO of Rexam plc, Royal Philips NV and Sara Lee International, and as management consultant for Arthur Anderson.
