ERM is pleased to announce the appointment of Bengt von Schwerin as Southeast Asia Managing Partner, further strengthening ERM in the Asia Pacific region.
Bengt has more than 25 years of experience in environmental, geo-engineering and environmental management projects across Asia, Australia and New Zealand, North America and Europe.
Bengt von Schwerin has a background in geological (geotechnical) engineering and business management. In his prior roles with AECOM, Bengt has directed the Southeast Asia Environment business and coordinated the business for the Asia Pacific region. In addition, he was responsible for overseeing and coordinating site remediation activities across the region. He established Earth Tech Engineering Pty Ltd in Australia in 2000 and has built and restructured business units for various US multi-disciplinary firms.
Bengt has worked in Asia for more than 10 years and relocated to Singapore in 2014. He has extensive experience across many sectors and has worked with numerous major oil & gas, energy, manufacturing and infrastructure clients across the Asia Pacific region. Bengt has led and assisted clients with major multi-disciplinary projects including complex site remediation, infrastructure planning and design projects, waste management/waste to energy projects, as well as providing strategic asset management and regulatory advocacy advice.
