ERM and John Alexander would like to announce that after 17 years of service to ERM, including 10 years as CEO and 2 years as Chairman, John will be retiring from the company and the Board.
John has led ERM through a number of very successful private equity cycles and navigated the firm through the global financial crisis and the oil and gas downturn of 2015. In his time as CEO the firm delivered unprecedented levels of growth.
John carefully managed the successful transition to Keryn James who was appointed as CEO in April, 2017. After two years as Chairman, during which the firm has returned to historic high growth levels, John has decided now is the right time for a further transition - “I am delighted to be retiring from ERM having handed the leadership of the company over to Keryn and her management team. ERM is a great company with a tremendous history and even more positive future and continues to go from strength to strength. During my time here, I have had the privilege to work with many great people, both past and present, many of whom have become great friends. I would like to thank the ERM team, our clients, investors and also our business associates for their trust and support over the years. I wish the company all of the very best for the future and look forward to seeing it continue to prosper.”
While we are very sad to see John leave the firm, we also celebrate the significant contribution he has made to ERM, which would not be the company it is today without his leadership. We are very grateful for his 17 years of service to the firm and wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
