Ausilio Bauen is a Partner at ERM. He has over 25 years’ experience working with private and public sector clients on the opportunities and challenges of a sustainable energy transition. He advises energy and transportation companies, technology and project developers, investors, industry associations and governments on low carbon fuels growth opportunities. His work covers: Supply and demand growth strategies; Technical/commercial due diligence; Supply chain analyses (technical, commercial, GHG and sustainability aspects); Policy, market and offtake assessments; Feedstock availability; Feasibility studies. Ausilio participates in a range of advisory panels, such as the UK Advanced Fuels Fund selection panel and the Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance integrity panel.

Jo Howes is a Partner at ERM, with extensive experience in the sustainable energy sector gained at E4tech, now part of ERM, and BP Biofuels. She leads our work on sustainable energy policy. This includes a focus on low carbon fuels, including biofuels, hydrogen, e-fuels and recycled carbon fuels for aviation, road and shipping. Jo has worked on numerous strategy and policy projects, covering bioenergy, low carbon transport, greenhouse gas removal, estimates of future technology and market potential, lifecycle greenhouse gas methodologies, and innovation. From 2011 to 2014 she was a Strategy Advisor at BP Biofuels, responsible for managing emerging issues in policy, sustainability, and technology, as well as developing strategy and advising on EU regulatory affairs.
