Peter is UK-based and leads ERM’s Finance Sector activities globally. Peter is a sustainability and climate change expert who has worked globally supporting clients for over 25 years. Peter’s areas of expertise focus on the development and implementation of climate transition and decarbonisation strategies, climate risk and adaptation and ESG risk and opportunity management. While Peter’s experience traverses a range of broad sectors including energy, mining and metals and infrastructure, a key focus for him has been supporting financial organisations as they develop and implement their own climate and ESG commitments, both at a fund and portfolio level, as well as climate finance products. Peter has worked extensively with private equity, infrastructure funds, commercial banks and multilateral organisations. Prior to relocating to the UK in 2016, Peter was based for 4 years in Washington D.C. leading ERM’s activities in the climate and finance space, and for 5 years in ERM’s Sydney, Australia office, where he lead ERM’s Asia Pacific activities supporting clients on their sustainability, ESG and climate change journeys.
