Kate Sellers

Technical Fellow, ERM

Kate leads multidisciplinary problem-solving teams that help ERM clients to meet their business goals through effective product stewardship and sustainability. She uses her training as a chemist and an engineer to support clients in their regulatory compliance, notably under the US Toxic Substances Control Act. Kate also works with clients to participate in the Circular Economy, where she has assisted clients with designing out waste and pollution, and keeping products and materials in use. Ms. Sellers’ strategic work with clients also reflects her scholarly pursuits. She teaches the course “Product Stewardship and Chemical Sustainability” at the Harvard University Extension School and is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Product Stewardship program at Indiana University, where she co-teaches a course in regulatory affairs. Those courses reflect what Kate has learned through researching and publishing five books on chemicals in the environment. Kate was a founding board member of the Product Stewardship Society and served as President from 2017 – 2019.

Chuck McCormick

Partner, ERM

Chuck is a Partner in ERM’s Global Digital Service (DS) line of business based out of the Philadelphia office. Mr. McCormick leads the Product Stewardship / Compliance practice within ERM DS. His focus is on systems strategy, design, deployment and operation, delivering technology enabled business process solutions. Chuck’s experience spans over 30 years across EHS operational compliance auditing & management system development; product stewardship & global product compliance program development; and EHS&S information systems business transformation strategy, design and deployment. He brings a unique blend of facility and corporate program EHS knowledge and experience with enterprise technology enablement across the EHS domain including supply chain and product development adjacencies.

Steve Smith

Technical Director, ERM

Steve is a Technical Director in ERM’s Digital Services (DS) line of business based in Philadelphia and a senior member of the Global Product Stewardship / Compliance practice. In the 20 years Steve has been in the industry, he has worked as Systems Architect, EHS Systems Lead and head of Product Stewardship and Regulatory operations. Steve is an expert in Product Safety & Compliance system design and deployment and business transformation. Steve’s broad experience in all phases EHS and Product Stewardship from system design to Business Process development and Organization Restructuring, enables him to blend operational effectiveness and systems support to effectively streamline business processes and solve operational problems. Steve’s skill were developed in the practical working environment through world class systems implementations and building successful agile Product Stewardship organizations at leading specialty chemical companies. Steve holds an international Masters of Law degree From De Montfort University in the UK.

Ann Drew

Partner, ERM

Ann has a 25+ year career of leading strategic and tactical business initiatives as part of SAP and the SAP ecosystem in numerous roles utilizing her expertise in Product Compliance, Sustainability and EHS. Her roles have included helping some of the largest companies in the world streamline supply chain processes, accelerate product introductions and new market entries, reduce risk, and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. Ann holds a chemistry degree from Bucknell University and has experience both in industry (Bayer/Covestro) and in software technology (TechniData, SAP, Verisk 3E).

Maryann Sanders

Technical Consulting Director, ERM

Maryann leads multidisciplinary problem-solving teams to assist ERM clients in meeting their business goals through effective systems and process that allow them to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Her work ranges from assisting clients in building and auditing global product stewardship programs to using her skills in toxicology, microbiology and regulatory affairs to help clients meet the needs of the value chain and the myriad of global regulatory requirements that impact them. Maryann is an active member of the Product Stewardship Society and an adjunct professor in the Master of Science in Product Stewardship program at Indiana University, where she teaches a course in regulatory affairs.

Chelsea Pinedo

Consultant II, ERM

Chelsea is a supply chain consultant in ERM’s Hartford office. Her experiences include circular design, sustainable packaging, responsible sourcing & manufacturing, logistics & 3PL management, and marketing & product launch strategy. She has also consulted with food & beverage startups to develop sustainability strategies, measure GHG emissions, and conduct lifecycle assessments. At ERM, Chelsea brings her sustainability and supply chain experience together to work with clients on complex issues such as Scope 3 emissions reduction, product circularity, waste reduction, supplier engagement, and supply chain policy review.
