Paul is currently helping companies integrate sustainability into core operational and business processes and specializes in operationalizing ESG, net zero and decarbonization commitments.

Robert LaCount is a Partner and leads ERM’s North America Climate Advisory services. He has over 29 years of professional experience working at the intersection of energy and environmental issues, with deep expertise in climate change, the energy sector, environmental policy, and clean energy.

Robert assists clients on a wide range of topics including climate and clean energy strategy, policy assessment, market & climate scenario analysis, and climate risk disclosure. In this work, he has led numerous engagements with energy sector clients to develop climate strategies, net-zero commitments, and climate strategy assessments. Robert also led the ERM collaboration with JPMorgan Chase in the development of their 2021 Carbon CompassSM Methodology and supports many financial sector clients on climate related strategies.
