Geraint Bowden is a Senior Partner at ERM, with over 30 years of experience in the fields of mining, power, and brownfield regeneration. Geraint is the ERM Lead for Mining & Metals in EMEA. He specialises in mining & metals due diligence, impact assessment, closure and legacy planning. Geraint joined ERM in 2006, and prior to that, he worked for a UK Economic Development Agency. Geraint was responsible for funding and management of multidisciplinary teams and partnerships on a wide range of projects to address the social, environmental and physical legacy of 200 years of mining and metals industrial activity in the UK.
The 7th MINEX Europe Mining and Exploration Forum will be held under the theme “Mining and Green Transition in Central and Eastern Europe” on 17 – 19 October 2023 in Wrocław, Poland focusing on Sustainable Mining and Just transition in Central, Eastern, and wider Europe.
The MINEX Europe Forum is a prominent international mining event focused on the Development of Primary Materials and Just Transition to Renewable Energy resources.
The Forum will bring together over 300 delegates from European and Global mining, technology, investment, and policy-making organisations. It will facilitate essential conversations on the sustainable and dependable sourcing of primary raw materials to meet the needs of the European industrial ecosystems. It will also address the impact of the European Critical Raw Materials Act, Just Transition, Coal phase-out, and other policies on further opportunities for the mining and metals industry in Central, Eastern, and wider Europe.
