Kathryn East is a Technical Director in ERM’s Brisbane office with over 18 years’ experience in designing and implementing contaminated site investigations, remediation planning and environmental management. Her role incorporates direction and technical review of contaminated site investigations (with a focus on PFAS), including providing technical support to local, regional, and global projects.

Chris Gimber provides specialist expertise in the areas of mine rehabilitation and closure, water management, geochemistry, and soils. His experience covers all stages of resource project planning and execution, including feasibility studies, impact assessment, concept and detailed engineering, operations and auditing, decommissioning, rehabilitation, and monitoring. He has over 20 years consulting experience in the environmental sector from across the globe.

Paul Hesketh has over 30 years of experience in closure planning, remediation, and regeneration programmes in relation to mining regions and major industrial facilities throughout the UK, and consequently has seen both the negative impact of poorly planned closures and how regeneration can give rise to new opportunities for the impacted communities.

Roberta Pedlar-Hobbs has over 20 years of professional experience principally in the fields of sustainable mine planning, mine rehabilitation and closure, as well as water, tailings and waste rock management. She has experience in both the private and public sectors in the management, permitting and technical aspects of mining-related projects, with particular expertise in developing strategic and holistic approaches to project development, execution and closure planning.

Tamie Weaver holds a MS and PhD in hydrogeology, with over 30 years’ experience as a hydrogeologist and hydrogeochemist. For over a decade Tamie lectured in hydrogeology and coordinated the hydrogeology program at the University of Melbourne. Since re-joining consulting over 15 years ago, she has supported mines, power stations and industrial facilities to understand the environmental risks to groundwater and surface water during their operations, in closure, and as they transition to closure. 

Dana Windle has more than 13 years of experience in environmental consulting industry, gained across a wide variety of environmental projects and range of localities, including various geologic and hydrogeological conditions across Australia and Asia Pacific.
She has expertise in site and hydrogeological assessments, conceptual site model development, fate, and transport of contaminants in groundwater, geochemical modelling, and groundwater remediation. Dana has significant experience in all aspects of contaminated land projects, including financial and project management, health and safety planning and implementation, field organisation, community, and regulatory liaison.
