On 28 October, South Korea unveiled its ambition to go carbon neutral by 2050. Institutional investors in real estate and infrastructure increasingly care about the potential impact of climate-related risks and other environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks across their portfolios. But many investors and managers are unsure how to manage these risks or what frameworks and tools to use to enhance portfolio resilience and capitalise on opportunities.

This webinar explores the changing landscape of real asset investments in the context of climate change and draws from the experiences of global and regional players to illustrate their management processes and practices. It presents the GRESB Assessments and the TCFD reporting framework, which are tools that real estate and infrastructure fund managers can use to meet investor expectations for ESG transparency and performance.

ERM Country Manager, Korea

Claire owns 20 years’ experience in the Asia finance market with strong investment experience and Environmental, Social and Governance, Sustainable Finance background. Claire spent the first seven years of her career in the equity research field both as a sell side and buy side analyst, and has worked for Private Equity and Asset Management firms based in HK, Singapore and Korea.

Claire was formerly Korea Country Manager of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), leading sustainable finance in Asia Pacific with a remit to encourage the Korean investment community to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance principles into their investment process to develop sustainable investment strategies. More recently, she worked for UNDP on its SDG investment project in 2018.

Currently, Claire is a Country Managing Partner at ERM in Korea to provide ESG/Sustainability consulting services for investors and corporates.
