Interest in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing has been growing, pressuring governments and companies to commit to the reduction of GHG emissions. The financial sector in particular is expected to deal with these issues in a proactive manner.
Many companies are joining intiatives to combat climate change, such as CDP, Science Based Targets initiative, RE100, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and making commitments to achieve ambitious targets of GHG emission reduction. Japanese companies are expected to set more aggressive targets of GHG emission reductions.
In this webinar, we will talk about the global movement toward the low carbon economy, and ways to achieve the aggressive targets of GHG emission reductions.
This event is by invitation only. If you would like to attend, please reach out to your ERM contact.
