Join ERM for a webinar discussing the safe construction and operating of data centers in APAC.
The construction and operation of large-scale Data Centers can present multiple safety challenges, especially across the Asia Pacific region. This can include understanding both country specific and international safety standards, the introduction of new contractors to the technology sector, finding and hiring key safety and technical personnel, increasingly complex contracting arrangements, and the application of novel engineering and technologies. Once in operation, the high energy demand to power the electrical and mechanical systems to host the data, may potentially pose safety risks to both the work force, to the facility and its environment.
In this webinar, ERM experts will share health and safety experiences and lessons learnt in managing safety risks in large-scale data centers. The webinar aims to discuss the data center regulations and requirements across APAC, how risk assessments along with management systems aid in ensuring safety in data centers and managing safety concerns during the construction of data center. Key examples will be discussed to provide insights on safety issues in data centers and how these issues are managed across APAC.
