Sandra has 15 years of experience in the design, execution, and evaluation of sustainable development strategies linked to the private and public sectors and international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has led projects in 14 countries on the following topics: ESG risks, sustainable finances, socio-environmental conflict prevention strategies, and local development plans, including approaches to social inclusion and productive diversification. In terms of sustainable finance, she has contributed to the growth of the Latin American market, leading more than 50 projects in Latin America in this segment, many pioneers in their respective countries in green and sustainable debt instruments.
In the academic field, Sandra has a master’s degree in Environment and Development, graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and received a scholarship from the Chevening Awards. He has publications on corporate sustainability and has given conferences at international events such as the World Resources Forum 2021, 2017, and 2023 (Geneva) and different investor and stock market forums in Latin America.
