Steve has over 20 years in the commercialization and development of large-scale and emerging energy projects, globally. His international career spans the USA, Caribbean, Taiwan, Japan and the UK. He’s held senior positions within the energy sector and advisory roles for project owners, investors and government agencies looking to deploy offshore wind and P-2-X solutions. Steve is an all-rounder with a proven track record in directing complex teams, and his entrepreneurial spirit has resulted in long-term secondments with some of the world’s leading renewable energy companies to bolster strategic, technical and leadership capabilities. Steve was a co-founder of the renewables consultancy firm RCG and is now applying his experiences into the rapidly emerging and complex green hydrogen market. Previously, a consultancy career in the offshore oil and gas sector, Steve has a PhD in marine biology and is a highly experienced environmental practitioner with formal training in energy law and policy. Steve is currently the Chair of RUK’s Green Hydrogen Working Group.
