Currently working as an Associate Partner at ERM, with 16 years of professional experience in environmental consulting and solid expertise in contaminated site management and complex environmental investigations, combining technical knowledge with leadership of multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects. At ERM, she is responsible for delivering high-impact assignments across multiple industries, supporting clients in managing environmental risks, navigating regulatory frameworks, and advancing sustainability objectives. Her experience covers multiple phases of site assessment and investigation, due diligence, and regulatory compliance, consistently applying a pragmatic and results-oriented approach to develop solutions that are technically robust, defensible, and aligned with business priorities.

Based in Canada, with over 14 years of experience in mine closure, social performance, and impact assessment for the mining sector. She specializes in integrating socioeconomic, cultural, and Indigenous considerations into closure and social transition planning, including stakeholder engagement, workforce transition strategies, and post-mining land use. Gillian has led projects across Canada and internationally, supporting clients to advance closure as a platform for regeneration and long-term value. She contributes to industry initiatives in mine closure and is a published author on mine closure, social transition, and regeneration.

Civil Engineer, graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP), with a master's degree and an MBA in Contaminated Areas Management from the same institution. Currently, she is a Partner at ERM Brasil, with 21 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant, managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. She has extensive experience in coordinating Mine Closure and Degraded Areas Recovery projects for the mining sector, including socio-environmental diagnostics, impact assessments, environmental investigations, risk assessments, intervention plans, geotechnical and revegetation projects, cost estimates, and future use proposals. Additionally, she has experience in Contaminated Areas Management for multinational industries, the real estate sector, and investment in Real Estate, and third-party audits.
