Tom is a highly experienced and recognised energy expert with a career spanning consultancy, corporate finance, project management and academia. He has a worked across many aspects of the energy system and has sourced, led, and successfully delivered a range of strategic consulting projects for investor, corporate, SME and government clients in hydrogen infrastructure, fuels and low carbon transport, as well as many cross-vector studies. He has held roles as a non-executive director and advisor to several early-stage businesses in the energy technology space and founded his own clean energy consultancy to assist companies in Japan and Europe with cross-border business development. He has a PhD in hydrogen energy economics and has published several papers on the subject in recognised journals. Tom brings a highly international perspective, having lived, and worked in Australia, France, Japan, Spain, and the US.
