Prior to beginning her career in consulting, Kelly spent 15 years at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics serving as technical expert on the use of predictive models to assess environmental fate, hazard and exposure concerns for industrial chemicals. Kelly managed the development of numerous predictive tools and administered the Sustainable Futures training program to educate stakeholders on the new chemical review process and use of predictive models to conduct screening level risk assessments.
In 2015, Kelly became an Associate Branch Chief at EPA, focusing on new chemical pre-notice communications with industry and supporting EPA final determinations and proposed regulatory actions on new and existing chemicals. In 2018 she moved to consulting where she specializes in U.S. and Canadian industrial chemical regulations, helping clients move new chemicals to market and ensuring compliance for existing chemical portfolios.
