About ChemCon
ERM is proud to be a ChemCon Asia 2024 partner, continuing our collaboration with this major global regulatory event. ChemCon Asia 2024 is taking place between 3rd and 7th June in Bangkok, Thailand. This five-day event will be focusing on global regulatory and compliance challenges and solutions.
ChemCon Asia 2024 is a global platform which brings together many experts representing companies, authorities and international organizations from over 25 countries. Presentations given by more than 60 speakers from governments and industry will focus on international chemical legislation all over the world, like K-REACH, EU-REACH, TSCA, GHS and country specific information on inventories, labelling requirements.
Major topics at ChemCon Asia 2024
ChemCon has a packed agenda, focusing on the most important topics shaping the industry, going from the EU Chemical Strategy for Sustainability to Global approach to notification of polymers and new chemicals. As the global sustainability agenda is constantly and dynamically evolving, with new or revised policies and frameworks being announced regularly, this context is central to understanding what is happening and what is coming from the policymakers. On Thursday 6th June in particular, Sustainable Thursday, many inspirational experiences will be shared for a more sustainable, transparent and circular value chain.
ERM will have two presentations on that day, on EU Taxonomy Regulation and sustainable product portfolio and sustainable supply chain optimisation, and chair a session on Technological developments supporting sustainability implementation.
As always at ChemCon, there are special sections dedicated to chemicals policy and developments around the world. Particularly noteworthy for this edition are Supply Chain, and similarly to ChemCon Europe earlier in October, PFAS, which is a subject of greatest concern globally.
