Brazil Energy & Sustainability Roundtable - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

ERM will be sponsoring and speaking at the Brazil Energy & Sustainability Roundtable organized by the Institute of Americas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The two-day agenda aims to foster a high-level dialogue. Through the participation of senior government officials, private sector representatives, academics and international scholars, discussions will offer reflections and insights to shape and inform the evolving policy and regulatory approach of the new administration.

Key issues and areas of focus will include the energy context in Brazil and perspectives on the path to Net Zero; the Lula administration’s energy transition goals; electrification outlook and insights pertaining to increased deployment of renewable energy; the country’s oil and gas sector; and the role of low carbon fuels and technologies such as hydrogen, carbon capture, offshore wind, among others, in the energy transition.
