Michael leads ERM’s Renewable Energy practice across the Asia Pacific region. In the past 12 months, ERM has supported its clients on over 40GW of renewable project developments across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the Renewables, Technology, Infrastructure and Government sectors, he is a trusted advisor to boards and senior executives on the transformation and development of solar, battery, wind, hydrogen, microgrid and marine renewables projects. Michael has previously held notable leadership positions, including CEO and Non-Executive Director Roles of ASX-listed energy and technology companies, not for profits and industry boards including the Clean Energy Council as is currently a member of the Transgrid Advisory Committee.

David is a Lead Partner, responsible for Capital Projects and Stakeholder Engagement, a team of 140 staff across ERM Australia’s operation. David also leads the Renewables sector across Australia and is currently leading the delivery of renewable energy development projects in Qld, NSW, Tas and WA. David’s 25 years of experience has been obtained from roles in academia, government and private consulting as well as delivery of strategic approvals advice for major projects and roles across State and Commonwealth scientific committees supporting biodiversity conservation planning and policy development.

Lucy is a Sydney based capital project approvals partner and technical fellow with over 30 years’ experience in both the Public and Private sector. She has a strong background in project management and director roles for major transport and renewable infrastructure projects in Australia and the UK. Lucy is experienced in Commonwealth and NSW environmental legislation, permitting and approvals and is also the current Chair of Engineers Australia Environmental College Board and Registered Planner in the Planning Institute of Australia.

Mark Davey

Mark is a Partner with ERM based in NSW with almost 30 years of experience. He provides strategic advice and leads the delivery of environmental and planning services to the renewable energy sector, across all phases of project development – site selection and feasibility, environmental assessment, primary and secondary approvals – across all renewable energy developments, including transmission and distribution. He has significant experience within NSW, and across most Australian States and Territories. Mark brings comprehensive project director skills and technical knowledge across numerous disciplines, having led the delivery of major projects across a variety of complex regulatory and stakeholder environments. He has exceptional skills in managing competing multi-disciplinary aspects of major projects. Mark is an accomplished technical reviewer with excellent verbal and written communication and adept and astute people and project management skills. His almost 30 years of experience has been obtained from roles in academia, government, developers and consulting, as well as roles on State and Commonwealth scientific committees.  

Debbie Stone

Debbie has 25 years’ experience across a diverse range of industries including financial services, construction, mining, education and telecommunications. With a strong foundation in strategic development and project management, Debbie has established positive working relationships with Government entities, not-for-profit organisations, community groups, small businesses, and large ASX listed companies. 

Her key strength is neutralising risk to protect delivery on large, complex projects while enhancing brand and reputation at project, organisational, departmental, and political levels.
