Dr Kennish has over 25 years of experience in managing and directing studies for the Power sector.  These studies have ranged from permitting of renewables, transmission and distribution systems and gas to power plants through to preparation of corporate standards on biodiversity and health and safety support in operations.  Robin has worked across the Asia Pacific region when providing support to power and renewable project developments including in Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, S Korea, Japan and Australia.

Michael leads ERM’s Renewable Energy practice across the Asia Pacific region. Michael has significant renewable energy and industrial decarbonisation sector experience having worked in consulting, manufacture and project development over the past 20 years, including 10 years as the Managing Director of an ASX-listed renewable energy company. Michael has developed and advised solar, battery, onshore and offshore wind, hydrogen, microgrid and marine renewables projects across site acquisition, development, approvals, finance, construction, operation and maintenance. He has also advised Governments and the private sector on industrial decarbonisation technology, policy and pathways. Michael is a former member of the Board of the Australian peak industry body, the Clean Energy Council and Australian Federal Government Energy Whitepaper Committee.

Mr. Duckworth is Senior Partner of ERM and the Safety Services lead for the Asia Pacific Region.  He has over 30 years’ experience in health, safety and environment (HSE) in Europe and Asia.  He has directed and managed over 500 multidisciplinary HSE projects in Asia against national regulations and international standards.  His power sector experience has been through project lifecycle comprising new market entry, feasibility, design, construction, operation and decommissioning and includes renewable energy (solar, wind and hydro) and LNG plant projects.  Mr Duckworth has led ERM’s HSE service programs including regulatory support, secondments, safety culture leadership programs, management systems, compliance assessments, due-diligence, monitoring and permitting.  His country project experience includes South Korea, Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Japan and Australia.
