Alison Hamer is a Partner in ERM’s European regulatory affairs team, having been in consulting since 2000, She began her regulatory career in 1992 at the UK government authority PSD, now CRD where she managed new active substance projects. She advises European and Global clients on regulatory matters related to crop protection products – including biologicals and biostimulants. She has acted as UK representative at European Commission and OECD working groups and trained officials and industry experts in Europe and Africa. Alison spent six years as head of communications and marketing at the UK centre for biorenewable fuels and materials. She has a PhD in fungal ecology from Cranfield University.
