This is a story 20 years in the making and is one that shows the power of setting a vision and enabling future generations of leaders up to collaborate. In 2004 the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation and Rescan Environmental Services came together and formed a 50/50 Joint Venture Partnership. Since the partnership has endured changes in leadership on both sides, an acquisition of Rescan by ERM, movement to a 51/49 ownership stake, and a name/branding change (RTEC to TEEM).
What has stayed the same are the founding principles of the agreement:
In this panel discussion we are going to hear from past leaders and founders of the partnership, current leaders of the partnership and future leaders. The panel will be chaired by Wade Brunham.
Wade is a Partner with ERM and started working for Rescan just after the partnership was formed. Many of Wade’s early field trips and career experience were on Partner Projects. Today Wade is a Partner with ERM and is on the board and management team of the Partnership.
