The Climate & Energy Program facilitates interaction on cutting-edge climate and energy topics between WBCSD members, their peers and stakeholders as they address critical industry issues and share best practices and solutions.
ERM CEO Keryn James is co-chair of the Climate & Energy Program Board at WBCSD. ERM has seconded technical experts for the past four years to support the program.
ERM has played a leading role in projects including the Utilities sector SDG Roadmap, Utilities Science Based Target Guidance and the Utilities Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) alignment project. Molly Iliffe, a Principal Consultant based in Edinburgh, is leading the TCFD work facilitating the input of leading energy companies. Partner Stephen Matthews along with Molly Iliffe and Technical Directors Piet Snoeck and Annette Nienhaus are actively involved in the Hydrogen Working Group and Partner Charles Allison is leading on policy work relating to COP26.
