The electric truck revolution is gaining speed, fueled by rising corporate commitments and rapid growth in zero-emission vehicle sales. Yet electric trucks still represent a small fraction of vehicles on the road, as fleet operators navigate knowledge gaps and complex implementation challenges.
To help close that gap, we partnered with EDF to create a comprehensive, step-by-step online Solutions Center that transforms industry best practices into a practical, easy-to-use resource — empowering fleets to confidently accelerate and scale their transition to medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles.
Understanding what fleets need to electrify
Electrifying medium- and heavy-duty fleets requires fleet leaders to navigate an entirely new ecosystem of vehicles, infrastructure, utilities, incentives and operations. EDF aimed to become a trusted, go-to partner in that journey — but first, we needed to understand what that journey actually looks like.
Through in-depth interviews and extensive secondary research, we mapped the typical path to fleet electrification and identified the tools and guidance leaders need at every stage. It quickly became clear that a static white paper wouldn’t be enough. Fleet managers needed a dynamic, interactive platform that could meet them wherever they were in the process and provide actionable support along the way.

Designing an experience, not just a journey
Grounded in our journey mapping insights, we wrote, designed, and developed electricfleet.org — an interactive digital platform intentionally built to meet fleet managers where they are in their electrification journey. Designed as an unbiased, comprehensive resource, the site translates complex technical, operational, and financial considerations into clear, practical guidance.
Through intuitive navigation, decision-support tools, real-world case studies, and tailored content pathways, electricfleet.org empowers fleet operators to explore options, evaluate readiness, and take confident next steps. More than a website, it serves as a centralized hub for trusted information — helping simplify the transition and making electrification feel achievable, strategic and grounded in operational reality.
The website was designed to be an unbiased, go-to resource for fleet managers looking to electrify their fleet.
The site guided users step-by-step through the process, offering tailored resources and support at each stage of their decision-making.

Start your journey
Users can create an account to save their progress and return to their personalized electrification roadmap at any time - a feature intentionally rooted in our broader communications strategy. Recognizing that fleet electrification is not a one-time decision but a phased, often multi-year process involving multiple stakeholders, we designed the platform to support ongoing engagement rather than a single visit.
By allowing users to build and save a customized roadmap, we shift the experience from static information consumption to active participation. The account creation also enables sustained dialogue. It transforms the website into a living resource that evolves alongside the user’s needs, allowing for tailored content, timely updates, and relevant tools that align with their stage of readiness. Instead of overwhelming users with everything at once, the strategy supports progressive disclosure — delivering the right information at the right time.

Results
Since its launch, nearly 10,000 users have visited electricfleet.org. Eighty-four (84%) of users have originated from organic and direct (non-paid) sources, and audiences have spent nearly four minutes on multiple pages each time they visit, leading to a healthy engagement rate of 54%.
