Lee Read is a Partner at ERM based in Austin, Texas, providing compliance assurance services for the technology and high tech manufacturing industries. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas with extensive experience in global audit program delivery, compliance program development, compliance and management system auditing, on-site compliance support, permitting and environmental management system development and implementation. Ms. Read currently advises and supports multinational technology clients through oversight and delivery of global auditing programs of their e-waste takeback vendors. She has developed, verified, and supported the various facets of implementing environmental management systems for many clients, from framework and system design to procedure writing, audit program development, and verification. Ms. Read holds degrees from Rice University and the University of California, Davis in chemistry and environmental engineering, respectively.

Kavita Thakkar is a Principal Consultant at ERM based in Houston, Texas. She leads large programs of work for technology clients auditing e-waste recycler portfolios and implementing global takeback programs. Ms. Thakkar has 15 years’ experience in the environmental field, with 13 of those years in environmental, health and safety (EHS) program development and management. Her expertise is in hazardous materials, hazardous waste, and water, with a broad knowledge in all EHS programs. Prior to moving to Houston, Ms. Thakkar served as the EHS Manager at a semiconductor company in California, where she managed all EHS programs locally and started to integrate their United Kingdom operations and the field service to create a global EHS department.

Mohsen Qasemi is a Senior Consultant at ERM based in San Jose, California. He has more than 9 years of experience in EHS consulting. Mohsen has worked with biggest technology, media & telecommunications companies, semi-conductor industry and consumer electronics companies in Silicon Valley. Mohsen’s area of expertise includes process safety, and risk management programs, EHS program development and implementation, business continuity, and environmental regulatory compliance.
