Environmental and human rights risks are increasingly recognized by legislators and companies. Due to different level of recognition and standards, legislations are emerging to harmonize corporate supply chain due diligence approaches.
The good news is that regulations throughout Europe are heavily built upon the UNGPs and the OECD Guidelines, which are known to the industry already and have been providing structure and guidance for companies since 2011.

Onur Durmus has 20 years’ experience in management and consulting, with particular expertise in EU Green Deal, Supply Chain Management, Responsible Investment, Climate Change, EU Taxonomy, ESG Due Diligence, Environmental and Social Assessments, EHS Due Diligence, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability Advocacy, and Product Environmental Performance. Onur is trained as a mechanical engineer and has a master’s in energy conversion and management.
