David Caine is a Principal Consultant in ERM with a background in Process Safety and Energy Transition. David has worked in a number of different environments and countries, including spending two years based in Abu Dhabi. He is a Chartered Engineer with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. His responsibilities are focused on the development of new approaches, technologies and business through close collaboration.
David has been involved with a variety of projects for clients in the energy sectors (including hydrogen). These projects have offered experience at various stages of the development life cycle, including Concept, Engineering Design, Commissioning, Operational, and Decommissioning phases. David has worked closely with clients to implement risk analysis models for projects, including developing bespoke risk assessment methodologies. Most recently this includes development of a risk assessment model for Hydrogen operation through the UK National Grid.
